You don’t do user experience design and then move on. It needs to be integrated into everything you do.

User Experience

We make a great user experience our goal.

The term “user experience” or UX is widely used now within the IT community, but many businesses are confused about what it actually means and why it is crucial to their success.

Of course we all expect a good experience from any web application we use, whether it's a one-off encounter or a tool we use to perform daily tasks. However, good user experience isn't automatic or guaranteed but must be worked on carefully and continuously.

UX design is a process of learning about users, responding to their behaviours, and evolving the product or service you are designing and developing.

It incorporates the following components: concepting, information architecture, interface design, prototyping, user testing, interaction design, and aspects of visual design.

When you create an interface and interactions that make sense to your target audience, then you know you have succeeded.

UX Matters

  • Understand your target audience
  • Remove unnecessary complexity
  • Involve users in testing
  • Work iteratively to improve the user experience
  • Make UX everyone's focus
