COLPability
COLPability is a compliance tool for firms regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) to benchmark their compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct 2011.
In early March 2012 Solicitors Strategic Solutions (S3), proudly announced the launch of COLPability, a new software service for solicitors in England and Wales, designed and developed by DabApps.

The Project
The sheer volume of Outcome-focused Regulations to be assessed, the need to provide feedback and advice wherever gaps in compliance occur, and the need to measure compliance on an ongoing basis presented just the sort of challenge we relish at DabApps.
As always, prototyping turned out to be extremely important in the design process, allow us to work closely with S3 to clarify functionality and workflow as well as optimising the user experience. The client found prototyping particularly useful, instilling a real confidence in the development phase.

The application was built using Django development framework and, for the first time, we based our front-end build on Twitter's Bootstrap. Both of these development tools allowed for an extremely efficient build.
